Jimmy Boudreau

Drummer Jimmy Boudreau started his professional career in 1987 as a member of The Kats, a house band at Kitcheners internationally known Luluís Roadhouse, where he spent 6 years performing with Chuck Berry, Sam and Dave, The Mamas and Papas and over 80 other entertainers of various genres from that era.

Over the next 17 years he explored the Canadian country and blues scenes simultaneously, touring North America and Europe extensively. During this period he recorded no fewer than 10 recordings for Torontoís Electro Fi Records, which collected 2 W.C.Handy nominations, one W.C.Handy Award, 2 Juno nominations, and numerous European awards. His playing may be heard on the final recordings of world-renowned artists Mr. Mel Brown, Snooky Pryor, and Sam Meyers.

His drumming may also be found on 30 CDís of some of Canadaís brightest and established Country music talent. Artists such as Jason McCoy, Chris Cummings, Amanda Wilkinson and Aaron Lines to name a few, have all employed Jimmy to record and tour.
