Two time CCMA Fiddle Player of The Year, Shane Guse, has been bred to perform since he was a young child. From the age of 9 he was on stage, performing with his family as a dancer, singer and multi-instrumentalist. He travelled the world 3 times over with “The Guse Family” and shared the stage with the likes of Roy Clark, Bill Anderson and Milton Berle.
Since the days of honing his many talents with the family band, he has become a top call musician on stage, radio, television, in studio and beyond. Most recently Shane can be seen performing with several Canadian country artists, including JUNO and CCMA winner George Canyon, CCMA and JUNO winner Jason McCoy, Jason Blaine, and Deric Ruttan, and has performed with pop superstars such as Richard Marx and Colin James Some of his most memorable shows have been performing overseas in Kandahar for the UN troops and playing at the the CMA Music festival in Nashville. He is a featured performer on CMT and can be seen on several specials and videos.
Shane is the reining Canadian Country Music Association Fiddle Player of the Year for 2010 and 2011, and has several other nominations to his credit for fiddle and mandolin. He is also the founding member and leader of the Canadian roots super-group, The Western Swing Authority The group is comprised of some of Canada's top touring and studio musicians, whose critically acclaimed debut album is enjoying airplay in 17 countries all around the world.

Shane plays a barry Dudley 5-string fiddle, uses D'Addario strings, uses LR Baggs and plays a Stonebridge Mandolin.
